Join us for an immersive pottery experience at the beautiful Dalma Mall Atrium, led by renowned expert Homa Farley! This unique event offers participants the opportunity to create their own pottery pieces with hands-on guidance from skilled instructors. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned artist, this event provides the perfect setting to express your creativity, learn new techniques, and receive expert feedback. Key Event Highlights: 

1. Expert Guidance Work alongside skilled pottery instructors who will guide you through every step of the pottery-making process, from shaping and sculpting to firing and painting. 

2. Exclusive Judging by Homa Farley Homa Farley, an esteemed pottery expert, will provide personalized feedback and evaluate the work created by participants. Winners will receive recognition based on creativity, craftsmanship, and technique. 

3. Hands-On Learning Each participant will have 45 minutes to create a pottery piece on the wheel, with all necessary materials and equipment provided. No previous pottery experience is required! 

4. All Materials Provided We’ll supply everything you need to make your pottery piece: pottery wheels, 80 kg of clay (depending on registration), tools, aprons, paint, brushes, and more.

Day 1: Pottery Competition (15 Feb)

10:00 AM – 11:15 AM | Registration & Workshop Briefing 

11am – 3pm | Competition Rounds 

3pm-4pm | Lunch Break: 

4pm-8PM| Competition Rounds 

8pm-9PM | Submission Deadline 

DAY 2: Al Rabia Road Show  (16 Feb)

6pm – 8 pm

Registration: 

• The Registration will take place online and Instore in Dalma Mall Store 
• Total Participants will be 80 Max, If increased we will increase a day 
• Token allotment will be At OC Home store on Event Day (giving slots to each contender) 

Announcement of Winners: 

• Homa Farley will be judging the pieces and giving announcement on 16th with Radio Road show 
• Prizes: Voucher worth AED 5,000/- 

General Rules 

1. Each participant will have a designated competition time slot. 

2. Slot Allocation: Every participant must visit OC Home Store to collect their slot number before the competition. 

3. Arrival Time: Participants must arrive at least 30 minutes before their competition time. 

Late Policy: o If a participant arrives within 15 minutes after their scheduled time, they will only get 45 minutes to complete their piece. 

If more than 15 minutes late, the participant will be giving the remaining time in their slot. 

Submission: Each participant must place a name slip with their piece upon submission. 

Original Work: All creations must be original. Pre-made or pre-molded pieces are not allowed. 

Materials Provided: Each participant will receive clay, a worktable, and basic tools 

Theme: All pottery pieces must follow the assigned theme Bowl or Pot. 

Drying & Firing: Pieces will be air-dried by the team and Painted by You 

Judging Criteria: Creativity (30%), Technique (30%), Aesthetics (20%), and Functionality (20%). 

Disqualification: 

• Failure to collect a slot number from OC Home Store. 
• Arrival more than 15 minutes late for the competition. 
• Use of pre-molded pieces or external assistance. 
• Failure to submit with a name slip.
