Dalma Mall Summer Showdown – Squad Games

To ensure a fair, safe, and exciting experience for all, participants must adhere to the following rules while taking part in the Squad Games at Dalma Mall:

1. Eligibility & Registration

·       Participation is open to individuals aged 6 and above.

·       Each participant must register at the registration counter with a valid AED 250 receipt from any of the participating Retail Outlet(s) or present a Golden Invite.

·       A numbered vest will be issued and must be worn throughout the game session.

·       Participants must agree to the rules before entering the game zone.

·       Shopping, dining, entertainment, or any other spend receipts from Dalma Mall outlets can be presented to participate in this activation. Receipts from Carrefour, money exchanges, banks, travel agencies, typing centers, transportation services, and bill/utility payment kiosks or service outlets are excluded.

·       Every minimum spend of AED 250 at participating stores in the mall entitles the shopper to one (1) entry to participate in the Promotion Gamification Zone.

·       Each eligible participant may join the Dalma Mall Squad Games only if they meet the specified age category permitted for the game.

2. Game Participation Rules

• Participants must follow the instructions provided by the game facilitators at each station.
• Each challenge has unique mechanics — failure to follow rules may result in disqualification from that station.
• No external assistance (from friends, parents, or bystanders) is permitted during gameplay.
• For physical games, players are responsible for their own safety and are advised to disclose any medical conditions before participating.

3. Code of Conduct

• Follow the Rules and Maintain Respect for the Game Masters (Red Soldiers):

• All facilitators and staff members dressed as Game Masters (Red Soldiers) must be always treated with courtesy and respect.
• Arguing, shouting, or showing aggressive behavior toward any Game Master, staff member, or fellow participant is strictly prohibited.
• Any form of verbal or physical confrontation will lead to immediate disqualification and removal from the game zone.

• Play Fair:

• Cheating or attempting to manipulate game outcomes in any way will result in elimination from the activity.
• Participants must not interfere with another player’s performance or engage in behavior that disrupts the experience for others.

4. Elimination & Scoring

• Each game has clearly defined rules for winning and elimination. These will be explained by the facilitator before the game begins.
• In Red Light / Green Light, movement during “Red Light” will result in instant elimination from the station.
• The decision of the Game Masters is final. No disputes will be entertained.
• Points will be tallied across all stations to determine leaderboard positions.

5. Prizes & Rewards

• All qualified participants will receive a participation token or reward at the Exit Booth.
• Top scorers will qualify for the Final Challenge and grand prize draw.
• Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

 6. Photo & Media Release

• By participating in Squad Games, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes within the mall and on digital/social platforms.

 7. Safety & Liability

• Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.
• The mall and organizing team are not liable for injuries caused by failure to follow game instructions.
• Closed footwear is recommended. Slippers or unsafe attire may prevent entry into specific stations.

 8. Grounds for Immediate Disqualification

• Arguing or disrespecting soldiers/staff
• Unsafe behavior or endangering others
• Use of profanity or inappropriate gestures
• Repeated violations of game rules
• Refusal to follow instructions or wear provided gear

 Other General Terms & Conditions

• Operating Hours: The game zone/stations will be open daily (Sunday to Saturday) from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PMonly.
• Single Claim per Receipt: Each receipt may be used only once. Participants may combine multiple receipts from participating stores to meet the minimum spend requirement of AED 250.
• Registration & Validation: To participate, each participant must register online by submitting all required details (Name, Email, Contact Number, and Nationality) and present original spend receipts for verification before entry to the gaming zone.
• Valid Receipts: No duplicate, photocopied, hand-written, or electronic receipts will be accepted. Only original printed receipts are valid for participation.
• Eligibility: Employees of Dalma Mall Management, its associates (suppliers, contractors, agencies), tenant staff, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. In case of doubt, details will be verified and the Mall Management’s decision will be final and binding.
• Rewards: Only the top three (3) participants in the Squad Games challenge each week will be rewarded, based on the highest leaderboard scores for each game.
• Tie-breakers: In case of a tie, tie-breaker rounds will be conducted for participants with the same score. Only the final winner will receive the reward.
• Winner Verification: Upon selection, winners must provide any additional information requested by the Mall Management to authenticate their identity and claim the prize.
• Accurate Information: Participants are responsible for providing complete and accurate registration details. Dalma Mall accepts no responsibility for incorrect or incomplete information submitted.
• Management Rights: The Mall Management reserves the right to disqualify any entry at its absolute discretion and without prior notice, including verifying the validity of entries and participant eligibility. Entries with false, duplicate, or misleading details, or any fraudulent or dishonest behavior, will be disqualified.
• Amendments: Dalma Mall reserves the right to modify or add to these terms and conditions at any time as deemed necessary.
• Liability: The Mall Management will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or expiry of the prize(s) once claimed by the winner.
• Consent & Publicity: By participating, participants consent to receive promotional information from the mall from time to time. Dalma Mall guarantees that participant information will not be shared with any third party.
• Media & Promotion: By entering, participants agree to the use of their names, photographs, nationality, and likeness for promotional or advertising purposes without charge and agree to make themselves reasonably available for such purposes. Copyright for such promotional material will rest with Dalma Mall Management without any claim to compensation from participants.
